I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and have always enjoyed living in the South. I graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig 'em, Aggies!) in 2007 with a degree in Mathematics, and I taught high school math in Texas for one year. In 2008, I moved to North Carolina and began teaching at Athens Drive High School. My husband and I currently live in Raleigh.

At ADHS, I am a co-sponsor for the Math Club and for the Athens Drive Dance Crew (ADDC a.k.a. HYPHY).

During my time away from "The Drive," I enjoy cooking (especially Italian and Cajun foods), gardening, writing, and spending time with my husband and friends.
